Temporary Placement (short and long term contracts)
When you choose NES for our temporary placement services, you would simply need to:
- make a quick phone call with your requirements...short or long term
- answer a few questions so that we can match the right individuals with the work environment
- give us a start date and time with the length of the contract
- pay rates and bill rates are based on the contracts length, location and qualifications
Within the first 3 hours...we will contact you to see how things are going because if you are not satisfied with the individual sent to your location, we will not send you an invoice
for the first 4 hours...THAT IS OUR GUARANTEE ON YOUR SATISFACTION.(feel free to contact the project manager for more details on the guarantee)
- Simply sign a time sheet that we give to our Associates confirming the hours worked

NES respects the fact that some Companies like to do everything the "old-fashion" way (the entire recruiting and screening process).
Payrolling allows you to direct your chosen employees to our door so that we can process your payroll for you. Minus the recruiting aspect, you receive all the benefits of a temporary employee. Since we do not perform the recruiting and job postings, your cost is significantly lower.

Sub Contracting
Hiring employees and managing them is one thing but finding the time to find a sub-contractor and researching their licenses, qualifications and verifying references as well as their availability sometimes takes longer then the work itself.
NES is offering to our clients a Sub-Contractor Management service. We will act as brokers to find you the best service within your Company budget. We will manage their payments, paperwork and all related logistics.
You will simply receive an invoice every week with the hours listed and if at any time you are not satisfied, we can replace the contractor with someone new.
The following services are broken down as individual services so that we can accommodate your needs. Even if you require us to perform simple but yet, time consuming tasks.
You can choose one or several of the services listed below and your cost will be based on your requirement and not by hour. Allowing you to control your HR cost and stay within budget.
Resume Screening
NES has a system in place to scan all resumes. This system looks for key words that we implement the search to look for.
We can scan several resumes in a timely and cost efficient manner. Your Corporate savings with this service can be astonishing when you compare this tool to the old fashion way of screening resumes which is reading every resume page by page...applicant by applicant. After hours of reading resumes, most people "skim" through them leaving the chance of you missing a great Candidate. Sometimes great people do apply and more often then not...they are overlooked because the individuals who are screening the resumes for review where not paying attention. You can save money with this service and possibly find that perfect employee we are all looking for. Remember that good employees do apply for jobs the difference is whether you employ them or your competitor.
NES would like to relieve some stress for you by taking all the resumes from your desk, database and/or incoming applicants and screen them so that you are only left with the resumes that fall under your company profile. Its a great feeling to know that every time you go into your "resumes to review" file that you will be contacting individuals who have already been selected for review.
Surprisingly enough...NES has found that (approx) 2 to 5 resumes out of (approx) 80 to 100 resumes received actually qualify for review.
Several people see an ad and say...what's the harm in applying.

Phone Interviews
NES has been asked on several occasions to service National Companies and phone interviews are crucial for Companies who have their HR department in another location. In most cases, they (our clients) do not think it is cost efficient to commit to a long travel before they are certain that they would like to interview the Candidate therefore, phone interviews seem to be the only option.
Phone interviews allow us to conduct the initial screening process to eliminate or showcase certain Candidates.
This is simply a time saving service. Some Candidates currently live beyond city limits, Province or Country and phone interviews are sometimes the only way to conduct a prescreen interview.
Face-to-Face Interviews
Asking the right questions or not asking the right questions could be very crucial.
You might be looking for a management type individual and your lack of experience in an interview might make the Candidate look somewhere else. Worst case scenario...you do not ask all the right questions and you are left with putting your trust in the hands of someone who might not be who they say they are. In the long run, this situation could very costly.
NES is offering this service to our clients because it is a known fact that some people are simply not capable of interviewing someone. This service can be offered in combination with others or on its own if the Company has decided to screen their own Candidates. Sometimes it is because there is too many people to interview and sometimes it is because you feel like you would
not know what to ask.
Reference Checking
NES will never send someone on assignment unless they have had their references checked. We believe it to be one of the most important aspects of the recruiting process. NES is offering this service because this could be the most time consuming aspect of the recruiting process. The contact might not be available, return phone calls, wrong #.... and often, Companies are left making quick decisions because they are overloaded with work and can't wait any longer. This Candidate might be a great talker and try to convince you that they are perfect for the job, so always check references.
No candidate will ever tell you:
- that they often show up to work 15 minutes late
- that they do not respect authority
- that they are not team players
- never finish a project on time
- everyone disliked working with them
(these are only a few things that need to be verified because no one will tell you the truth in these circumstance)
Since this task is one of the tidiest ones, we have extended this service to our clients.
Assessments / Testing (for new Employees or potential Candidates)
NES tests all of their Associates to fully understand their capabilities with certain programs. This allows us to place people in categories such as Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. With this system in place, we can always make sure that when we are placing someone on assignment, we are matching their skills with your needs.
This service can also be used by our clients to ensure that the Candidate that they are considering hiring is capable of handling the work load. This day in age, everyone has uses Word, Excel, Office...but their level of understanding is never clear. If you have a requirement for someone who understands certain accounting, spread sheet, power point programs and many more...simply ask and we will follow up with a list of assessments for you to choose from.
Our Assessments/Testing include but not limited to the following categories:

- writing
Psychometric Testing (for potential Candidates)
This service is normally used by Companies who are looking to hire someone for Sales, Management, Directors, Executives positions that normally consist of dealing with people or individuals who will direct a group or team.
Companies are often left with a big decision when trying to decide between 2 or more Candidates. This service will often determine which individual is best suited for your Corporate culture. You would be amazed at what you learn about someone and more often then not your initial choice will not be your final one.
Psychometric testing determines the following:
- their loyalty
- if they work better as a team or as individuals
- whether or not they are goal oriented
- their confidence level
- stress levels
- business and personal ethics
